Zac Efron Is Jonny Quest – Warner Brothers is making a Jonny Quest movie with Zac Efron as Jonny and Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, as his mentor Race Bannon.
The new Jonny Quest movie is an update of the cartoon story with Zac playing Jonny in his late teens in what will be more of a action-adventure buddy movie than a lame knockoff like the dreadful “Speed Racer.”
No word on who will play Jonny Quest’s love interest in the upcoming movie, but if Zac has anything to say about it, Vanessa Hudgens is definitely interested.
Look for a casting announcement from Warner Brothers in early April after contract negotiations are finalized.
