Even though she did gain weight I don’t think it matters what a person looks like. I short and even if I gain 2 lbs. you can tell right away that I put on some weight. I have a boyfriend who thinks I’m perfect the way I am and likes me for who I am and even though I’m still trying to lose the weight it’s still hard to lose it being that I’m a girl. Girls tend to have a harder time losing weight then guys. Guys, you know you should like the girl for who they are like my boyfriend. No, I’m not huge, but I do have a little belly, but that doesn’t stop me from singing, or doing what I like to do. I’m a person and Kelly Clarkson is a person as well so I don’t think anyone should be making fun of her. So what if she put on some weight. I’m pretty sure some of you typing these things have a belly as well, and be honest about it. I was a little twig that would never gain weight and my sister was kind of chuncky, and I would constantly make fun of her and now look, I ended up gain weight and it’s really hard to lose it. That’s what can happen to you if you start saying stuff about other people, so for those who are making rude comments, you better watch what you say because it could turn back on you and happen to you and you will regret what you said about people once it happens to you. I regret making fun of my sister, plus think about how much your actually hurting that person. If you really think about it, just by you all saying that stuff brings peoples self esteem down and they will start to talk down on themselves and could send them into a drepression stage. So just think about what you all are saying and how bad you are making people feel about themselves just by one rude comment!

I think stick thin girls are really not that attractive but I think its cool that she did gain the weight despite all the crap shes gonna get! I’m shocked at how big she has gotten in such a short amount of time. It’s got nothing to do with how she looks or doesn’t look, it’s about the fact that she is obviously not looking after herself. If that was my sister, girlfriend, mother etc then I would be just as concerned as when I look at these photos not because she is more or less ugly but because of the rapid weight gain and health issues relating to that weight gain.
As people have already pointed out, she is a person.. a human being.. so who cares if she is not as stereotypically beautiful than she was before, who cares if she has a great voice.. she is doing harm to herself by not being healthy and I think that is the real message here even if that was not the original intent of the post.

She definitely gained weight, but i think shes hotter. I mean some men like real skinny girls, but im in love with chubby women! There so much nicer and so much hotter. They have bigger front ends and back ends and thats what I like to see. I hope she gains more weight, then Id like her even more!

Man look at those thighs. They are huge! how can you not find that hot! They are so big and sexy, id lvoe to meet her. I hope she doesnt go on a diet like a normal celebrity, that would be a shame!

my family and I followed her thru the first American Idol. She is such a nice girl and now growing into a woman. As a male myself, sure I like to look at pretty girls that are in good shape, especifically if they are there to entertain us. She has a beautiful voice, SHE IS a beautiful person, BUT I do think she should lose weight. This is not a 40+ year old woman (not that there isn’t some 40+ in great shape), but a woman in her 20’s, she should do it for herself and the fans. I always thought she was beautiful and she has a special look. Not a rail skinny, but she looked very sexy. I also think she should stay away from Rock! I think she will have much more success signing love melodies and perhaps some Country music. Anyways, good luck to you Kelley, no matter what you decide to do, you are a beautiful person! Mg
