Miley Is The New Britney – Hot pics of Miley Cyrus trying to “out-Britney” Britney Spears by performing a pole dancing routine at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on August 9th.
The Miley Cyrus pole dancing photos below were part of her dance routine as the Disney tween queen performed “Party in The USA” on live TV.
Wearing booty shorts, black boots, a see through top, and a transparent black bra, Miley’s performance made parents across the country cringe as their young daughters watched the tween star perform a burlesque routine.
With her hip-swiveling pole dance routine, it seems 16-year old Miley wants to be the next Britney Spears.
The Miley Cyrus pole dance number seemed like a calculated move to expose another side of her to her fans, especially since her mother, father and baby sister Noah were in the crowd.
And what dad wants to watch his 16-year old daughter pole dance anyway?
Miley must be looking to expand her audience to young guys, but they are probably thinking pop tart, not pop tunes.
I bet a lot of guys appreciated that booty shaking number!

I absolutely love Britney, and hate seeing her be compared to Miley Cyrus. Nobody can step up to her level. I feel Miley sounded amazing, but looked very…. trashy, slutty, you know. She shouldn’t have dropped down on that pole. She knows it would start conversations, and gain her negative attention, for the most part. Whoever agreed to this performance, is just as wrong as she is, for doing it. The choreography was fire, but not TOO appropraite for a sixteen year old. Who cares if the moves she did are what teens do at school?! She’s in the public eye, and she knows that. She also is very aware of the fact that millions of little kids look up to her. I can’t believe what she did that night and I really don’t like her. Disney needs to stop focusing on the money, but instead, get the RIGHT people to be a part of their industry. Selena Gomez is a PERFECT example. Just sayin’.

Hello, this is Miley. The REAL Miley. Please don’t focus on the negative. Focus on the positive. Tell everyone to move on. I don’t think I’ll be the next Britney, regardless of how much I look up to her. I wasn’t pole dancing, and if everyone thinks it is, I don’t know what the world has come to. I DO know that I was and am in the public eye, but I didn’t think it would cause so much negative reaction. It was a dance move, and strictly that. I knew exactly what I was doing, which, once again, wasn’t pole dancing. My parents, well, my dad, said what he said, in which others thought was careless of my “wreckless behaviour”, was only because he saw me dancing. Others saw me negatively dancing.
