Russell Brand Jonas Brothers - At the 2008 MTV VMA Awards Russell Brand ridiculed the Jonas Brothers for their virginity vows and purity rings.
Russell Brand seemed to turn the audience off from the start when he begged the American people to elect Barack Obama, made fun of Sarah Palin and her family, and took shots at the Jonas Brothers at least a dozen times.
The Jonas Brothers ignored Russell Brand and his ribbing but Jordin Sparks came to their defense and still the host persisted to mock the JoBros.
Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas handled Russell Brand and his jokes with class by simply refusing to take the bait of his humorless jokes but in follow up interviews with the brothers, GlamBamm thinks they will defend their decision and come out winners.
We think Russell Brand was a jerk and won’t be invited back to host another show like the MTV VMA Music Awards.

Russel Brand is so repulsive and thumbs down to MTV for having him be the host. What a disgrace. This loser wasn’t funny at any moment of the show, and how low life of him to bash Jonas Brothers for being a positive influence on todays teens and kids. We need more people like the Jonas Bros, and less like Russel Brand. It’s pretty sad that I turned my channel away from the VMA’s several times just so I wouldn’t have to listen to Russel Brand’s loud and disrespectful mouth. I am a huge Jonas Brothers fan Beleive me (OJB) He had no right i dont care if joe and kevin are almost 20 and in 20 it doesnt mean anything nick yeah to young Kevin and Joe CAN TAKE THERE TIME whoever doesnt like that isnt a JOnas Brotherss fan but they deserve the incourgment not the being made fun of it. Get over it people. Russell Brand is hilarious. I don’t know if you American’s understand him yet but you will one day as your sense of humour develops.
Have you seen that he is being cast to work alongside J Depp in the new Pirates film?
I have no doubt that he will steal the show. A few months down the line you’ll all be “digging him” by which time this Jonas Brothers rubbish will be long forgotten.
