New Melrose Place Cast – Melrose Place has a new cast for 2009 and some of them you will love while others you will love to hate as the season progresses.

The new Melrose Place cast will recreate the old series as a group of 20-somethings living in a swanky apartment complex in LA though the writers never seem to explain how this group of neighbors can afford to live is such luxury.

Sydney Andrews played by Laura Leighton is the landlady of the new Melrose Place cast and is central to their daily goings-on. But Sydney has a dark side which will be obvious from the start.

Sean Sipos plays David Beck, son of original Melrose Place character, Dr. Michael Mancini.

Ella Simms, played by Katie Cassidy, used to be friends with Sydney, but an act of betrayal destroyed their friendship.

Auggie Kirkpatrick (Colin Egglesfield) met Sydney at an AA meeting, but the friendship has soured since Sydney started drinking again.

Lauren Yung is another tenant in the new Melrose Place cast, played by Stephanie Jacobsen, who struggles to pay her bills but somehow still manages to live the life of luxury at the Melrose place address.

Jonah Miller (Michael Rady) is a struggling film maker who has just proposed to his live-in girlfriend Riley Richmond (Jessica Lucas), a first grade teacher.

Violet Foster, the character played by Ashlee Simpson in the 2009 Melrose Place cast, is the one that finds the bloody body in the pool, and though David is the primary suspect, nearly all the tenants at Melrose Place had a reason to kill the victim.

And so the plot sickens with this new Melrose Place cast poised for the 2009 season. Watch the New Melrose Place Tuesdays at 9/8c on the CW.
